Resolution 74-25
Aloha,
I am writing today to ask that you do not support Resolution 74-25 which would allow federal agency
cooperation with HPD. Our local police forces should be only for supporting and upholding our Hawai'i
state laws, and not used to supplement federal agencies for their federal law enforcement operations.
Hawai'i is one of many areas being targeted for federal immigration policy issues, and our local law
enforcement should not be participating in any of these actions. Please keep our local HPD focused only
on enforcing the laws of our state, and do not allow for this federal cooperation at this time.
