2-7-011:001 AND 2-7-010:027, SITUATED IN THE AHUPUA'A OF 1'_AWAINUI AND ONOMEA,
DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, UTILIZING THE PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE, AND NATURAL
RESOURCES PRESERVATION FUND
I have been a resident, home, and land -owner of Pepe'ekeo for 40 years. Kawainwi makai has been a
cherished location to many for so long. I first visited in the sugarcane days of 1985 and continued to
visit this remarkable area.
Please support this acquisition as a valuable estuary, home to a rare damselfly and a place not so easy to
get to. But that is another reason Kawainui makai is so special! mahalo for considering this. --Ed
