Going down to the Pepe'ekeo shoreline has always been a place that makes me happy. I go fishing,
throw net and hangwith my family. I go fishingwith my grandma and grandma. My grandparents lived
down pepeekeo for their whole life and they know how it was back then and how it is now. It's not the
same. Back then my grandma guys which is Carol. Santos use to go down to the shoreline and pick'6pihi,
fish, throw net, pick crabs and hang with the family. So being able to open up a new place for us to go
fishing, throw net and hang out wilt be a blessing and if we are able to purchase Kawainui Makai I will be
taking rnygrandparents down there.
I've lived in Pepeekeo for 17 years now and I can tell you my community is a community that witl, fight
for what we want and we wilt make sure we use it property and maintain a good environment for it. Us as
mcommunity come together tohave a Ma\orna'Ain@day inwhich everyone that can come from the
community and others who want to hetp us goes down to the shoretine and cteans up a part of the
aho[eiinetokeep osafe and oieonpath togodown.
VVehumbly ask you toLet ua purchase KaNainU/Mak8i./norder for US/Dclean it, and keep //clean
for generations and generations /Ocome. Being able fDgDdown fOKaw8/OU/will be@great
experience for U3@G8community and for the younger ones tOgOdown there and learn about
Kawa/nbi. Being able fOopen upGnew place for U8/DPeneekeO/s exciting sDplease look forward ho
letting USbuy KaNainLi Ma/a/and Ne surely will not let you guys down.
