Aloha & to Whom it May Concern,
am writing in support of Resolution 100-25 as 1 feel that participation in this current DV Art Therapy class
has helped my personal and therapuetic journey as a DV Survivor. Along with other helpful resources and
therapy that I have personally sought, THIS class has created a memorable and safe space of
opportunity to share experiences and learn through meditative art therapy how to channel our healing in
a beautifully positive way.
strongly believe with additional support from County funding, it can help bring more life, healing and
overall unity to those of us who genuinely are in need of relatable and unbiased community when it
comes to our mental, physical, and emotional health and wellness both as individual women and
mothers. In attending these DV Art Therapy sessions with Ishtar Dakhil, i feel she has brought a very
patient, warm, authentic, and meditative aura of instruction and feet that she is truly deserving of the
additional support of funding needed to see this creative process through tit completion..
