SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 74-25; A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENTS WITH FEDERAL AND STATE PARTNERS TO SUPPORT
THEIR CONTINUED COOPERATION WITH THE HAWAI`I POLICE
DEPARTMENT FOR THE SAFETY OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I.
Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 74-25. The proposed
amendment is shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the content of Resolution No.74-25;
material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored.
The final WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, HPD [will in4r-adttee a resolution anffually with C ei for- this
purpose (ineluding an "dated index of Agr-eeffients ;] intends to transmit to the
Council a resolution and exhibit for this purpose on an annual basis as well as any
supplemental resolutions and exhibits whenever an amendment to an existing avreement is
desired by HPD; now, therefore,"
A copy of the new draft of this resolution that would result if this proposed amendment were
adopted is intentionally omitted, due to the limited scope of the amendment.
