SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 24, Draft 2; AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
CHAPTER 25, ARTICLES 1, 2, 4, 5, AND 7, OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY
CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO
TELECOMMUNICATION ANTENNAS AND TOWERS.
Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 24, Draft 2. The amendment is shown
below in Ramseyer format with respect to the content of Bill No. 24, Draft 2; material to be
added is underscored. A copy of the new draft of Bill No. 24, Draft 2, that would result if this
proposed amendment were adopted is not attached, due to the limited scope of the amendment.
SECTION 5 of Bill No. 24, Draft 2, which amends chapter 25, article 2, division 7, section
25-2-74, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended by
adding a paragraph to be appropriately inserted and to read as follows:
"(1) An aDDlication for Dermit aDDroval on a form aDDroved for such Duraose b
the director that states all permit requirements are due before the sixty-day
shot -clock begins and that submission of said form is the first procedural step
in triggering the sixty-day clock. The form includes eligible facilities requests
(EFR) and shall be accompanied by the following,"
2. SECTION 5 of Bill No. 24, Draft 2, is further amended by renumbering paragraphs (1)
through (11), inclusive, as paragraphs (2) through (12), respectively.
