SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 74-25, Draft 2; A Resolution Authorizing the Mayor
to Enter Into Intergovernmental Agreements with Federal and State Partners to
Support Their Continued Cooperation with the Hawaii Police Department for the
Safety of the County of Hawaii.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 74-25, Draft 2. Resolution No. 74-25 was amended with
the contents of Communication No. 125.31, as duly approved by the Council during its meeting
on April 2, 2025.
The Council then suspended Rule No. 23-1(d) and adopted Resolution No. 74-25, as amended to
Draft 2.
