JSV OF N,Y <br />4� •y..- 76 <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />),TE,Ci,M'r <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO `EWALU INC., TO <br />ASSIST WITH EXPENSES FOR ITS WORKFORCE ADVANCEMENT INITIATIVE. <br />WHEREAS, `Ewalu Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering <br />the next generation of young leaders in Hawai `i; and <br />WHEREAS, `Ewalu Inc., is requesting funds to purchase a program database, supplies, <br />and a videographer/digital media specialist, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, <br />improving, or promoting the interests of educational concerns; and <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in <br />accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br />amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 are hereby transferred to the <br />Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to `Ewalu Inc., for the expenses and purposes <br />identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AM(: 411OF <br />APPRi " i 11 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $5,300 <br />•' • <br />010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $5,300 <br />Public Programs <br />115 Misc.
