STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />+To•� Na MOt i•'\\ <br />,TF•OF�HF'� <br />RESOLUTION NO. `1 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE HAWAI`I POLICE DEPARTMENT TO <br />PROMOTE PUBLIC SAFETY AWARENESS. <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii Police Department's Community Policing is committed to <br />providing the highest quality of police service and forming partnerships with the community to <br />achieve public satisfaction making Hawaii Island a safe place to live, visit, and conduct <br />business; and <br />WHEREAS, in partnership with the community, the Hawaii Police Department is <br />committed to enforcing the law, protecting the peace, and preserving the spirit of aloha on <br />Hawaii Island; and <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting funds to purchase a speed radar and <br />items to promote public safety awareness such as car seats; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Hawaii Police <br />Department to promote public safety awareness. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $7,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />010.201.5203.20 Police Department <br />Police Admin Div -Equip <br />480 Misc Equipment <br />(Speed radar and car seats) <br />$7,000 <br />$7,000 <br />
