Subject: Regulate small cells
Please support the amendment to include small cells in Bill 24. The Director is incorrect when he said
small cells could not be regulated here. Several years ago the County adopted a resolution to halt 5G
small cells. They are a new untested technology that has raised alarm bells around the world and
caused dozens of local jurisdictions across the country to regulate deployments. The Big Island
needs an ordinance that includes small cells.
