As a fellow business owner and community member, I've had the privilege of working alongside Kawehi over the years and have consistently admired her ability to lead with both intention and compassion. She brings a rare combination of strategic thinking and deep cultural grounding that makes her an exceptional leader—not only in her professional roles but in every space she holds within our community. Kawehi's presence is collaborative, thoughtful, and steady. She approaches challenges with humility and resolve, always seeking out perspectives that may otherwise go unheard. I've seen firsthand how she builds bridges, encourages dialogue, and stays focused on outcomes that benefit our island as a whole—not just today, but long into the future. '1 Comm. 9 ._ W 1 Ref. To: Ref. Dole APR _ 2025 As a business owner rooted in West Hawaii, I value leaders who understand the delicate balance between progress and preservation. Kawehi gets that balance. She understands the nuances of land use, economic development, and cultural responsibility in a way that's both practical and visionary. It's an honor to call her a colleague and friend. I have no doubt she will serve our island well on the Leeward Planning Commission. Your care and commitment to our island's future is truly appreciated. Mahalo for your time and consideration.
