Nomination of Kawehi Inaba to the Leeward Planning Commission
Aloha Chair Kagiwada and Committee Members,
I wholeheartedly support Kawehi Inaba's nomination to serve on the Leeward
Planning Commission. She has proven herself to be a strong community advocate
with a balanced approach. Kawehi knows our diverse island community and will,
be able to examine and analyze planning and zoning issues from a broad
knowledge base.
Her background in business combined with her experience as Director of Research
and Development for the County of Hawaii, and her current role as Executive
Director of La'i'opua 2020 makes Kawehi a qualified addition to the Planning
Commission.
I urge you to support Kawehi Inaba's nomination.
