Commission
Aloha'County Council Members,
My name is Keolani Keawe. As a lifelong resident from HOlualoa, and a local realtor, I
am pleased to offer my full support for the nomination of Kawehi Inaba to the County of
Hawai'i's Leeward Planning Commission.
I've known Kawehi for many years, both professionally and personally, and have always
admired her integrity, work ethic, and deep commitment to our community. Her
extensive experience in business, nonprofit leadership, and advocacy equips her to
thoughtfully navigate the complex issues facing our island. I've witnessed her ability to
bring people together, listen with empathy, and make well-informed, balanced decisions
that reflect the values of West Hawai'i.
Kawehi's inclusive leadership style and dedication to serving others are grounded in
aloha and a sincere desire to uplift our 'aina and people. She would be a tremendous
asset to the Commission and to the future of our community planning efforts.
