Subject: Testimony: Resolution 74-25
Aloha Mayor Alameda and Council Members,
My name is Clair Mason. I am a 12 year resident and devoted community member of Kona. I am emailing
you to testify strongly against Resolution 74-25. This resolution would pave way for further ICE
intervention in our community, which we cannot condone. Our community does not need to put fruitless
efforts towards law enforcement that targets hard working immigrant families. We have much more
important things to focus our county's energies on. Please do not vote in favor of this resolution. Our
community will be safer and more secure without ICE in our neighborhood.
