Mahato, Tatiesin McEnaney Aloha Council Members, My name is Kimberly Patterson, and I am writing in strong support of Resolution No. 103-25, requesting the approval of $2,500 in funding reimbursement for the Driver's Traffic Safety Fair held in P5hoa. The Traffic Safety Fair is a vital community event that will bring together local organizations, educators, and first responders to promote road safety awareness, responsible driving habits, and pedestrian safety. With over 350 participants from the Lower Puna 'Ohana, this event will provid hands-on demonstrations, interactive activities, and essential traffic safety education for drivers of all ages. This funding is crucial to reimbursing event costs, ensuring we can continue to provide meaningful and impactful safety education in our community. Investing in traffic safety is an investment in saving lives, and this fair directly contributed to that mission by equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to make our roads safer. I respectfully urge the Council to approve Resolution No. 103-25 and support the continued efforts to promote traffic safety and community well-being. Mahato nui for your time and consideration.
