Re: Testimony regarding item number CRF Resolution 115-25 to Aloha Animal Alliance
Dear Chair, Vice Chair, and Members of the Council,
|' Lynn MnL8nenDewey, support the above CRFResolution 115-25toAloha Animal
Alliance. As a contributing volunteer with Aloha Animal Alliance, I have been fortunate to
witness and participate in this team's hard work and collaboration with the County and
other rescue organizations on this Island. This positive action supports the vision of
empowering communities with resources and knowledge Loensure the safety, health and
well-being ofcompanion animals inour homes.
Aloha Animal Alliance's continued efforts in animal welfare on Hawaii Island are vital to
create a larger impact on the current County efforts of protection and control of island
animals. Combining County and private resources, accumulated data, and boots on the
ground, is the best way forward to combat the overpopulation and responsibility issues
facing the animals mfHawaii Island.
