No. 210/Bill No. 41 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 41,reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 41, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication No. 210, dated <br /> March 28, 2025, amends Ordinance No. 24-32, as amended, the operating budget for the County of <br /> Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. <br /> This bill decreases the appropriation in the Transfer to Housing Fund account($451,221); and <br /> appropriates the same to the HOME Program Income Repayment account. <br /> Office of Housing and Community Development Division Manager Royce Shiroma was present in <br /> Chambers. <br /> Committee Member Ashley L. Kierkiewicz recalled a similar measure and asked if this is a similar <br /> transfer. Mr. Shiroma replied that it was, but this measure is being put forward to place the funds in <br /> the appropriate account. Ms. Kierkiewicz asked if this is purely a housekeeping measure.
