Aloha Finance Committee Chair and Council members,
I strongly support increasing funding to DPW for the newly created Road Repair fund from Bill 82 that passed last year. 1
live in Hawaiian Acres near G Road. It takes 20 minutes for me to get to a paved road. This makes emergency access very
difficult. It takes an ambulance around 45 minutes to get to my house. Police don't even want to respond. You can
imagine the costs for repairs to my car yearly.
Please prioritize funding this badly needed and long anticipated program so that we can begin to improve our roads that
have been neglected for decades.
