Risk to our community is a proven fact. • A new fire with the speed and intensity of Lahaina will result in the same scale of lost lives and property. • This is a matter of public safety and failure to address it violates the County's responsibility both legally and morally to its citizens. • Funding for the initial engineering of Waikoloa's second arterial road must be included in the 2025 Capital Budget.
