My wife and I evacuated the vil.Lage when asked for by the HFD during the Mana fire. btookckzmeto45
minutes to even get to the Hutu emergency road, then another 45 minutes to get down to Queen K. |fvve
had a truck break down on that single lane road during the evacuation it wouLd have taken even
Longer. Had that fire reached the viLlage with those high trade winds casualties woutcl have been
catastrophic.
Does Waikoloa Vi[Lage have to become the next Lahaina in order for the Council to act? Approve the
fundingtoget the studies done now!
