Subject: Second emergency road out of Waikoloa Village.
Dear County Coulcil,
After having to evacuate the village in 2018 for a fire I have seen how congested Waikoloa Road was with two evacuation
routes. If we have the main road blocked by either fire or equipment the Hulu exit cannot handle the population of the
village and people will die.
After seeing the disaster in Lahina and the lack of exits there you should be aware of the dangers and liability of not
having adequate exits.
