development of the Kukuiola Permanent Supportive Housing Project in Kailua-
Kona.

Changes the required appropriation of residential tier two property tax revenue for
housing and homelessness from a fixed proportion of 75 percent to a fixed amount
of$9,000,000.

Increases revenues in the Federal Grants —Justice Assistance Grant-Special
Response Team Capability Enhancement Grant account($78,671); and appropriates
the same to the Justice Assistance Grant-Special Response Team Capability
Enhancement Grant account, for a total appropriation of$129,028. Funds would be
used by the Police Department for training, travel, and specialized gear and
equipment.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.24-32, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR
THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DUNE 30, 2025.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAVI:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 24-32, as amended, is hereby further amended by appropriating revenues in the
following amount(s) to the fund(s) as set forth in Section 2.
