Subject: Second Road for Waikoloa
Aloha,
I understand everyone has their own priorities around the island and there is a never ending list of things that need to
get done but due to the fact that Waikoloa village has such a high risk of wildfires being evacuated numerous times we
need this to happen.
Mayor Alameda said we only need to ask/tell him once but we have been begging for decades and the time has come,
this needs to happen now.. My family, friends and neighbors who are too lazy to write in all support the funding and are
willing to pay for bonds or whatever is needed to get AND keep the ball rolling on getting this second road built. Please
be creative, dedicate someone to get an hold of the developers and make it happen.
This would be a huge win for your administration. This single issue has the potential to propel you forward or derail you
from future office depending on how it goes... That being said, we as a community are behind and support you but if this
doesn't get done - I can guarantee you will face massive resistance when you are up for reelection...
Thank you for the work you all are doing to make our lives better and safer.
