STATE OF HAWAII <br />,TE•OFH�'� <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1-G, 4 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT FOR THE KEA`AU <br />FIRE STATION. <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department (HFD) provides fire protection and <br />suppression, pre -hospital emergency medical services, land and sea search and rescue, hazardous <br />materials response, ocean safety, fire prevention, and public education for the County of <br />Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, the HFD strives to improve departmental readiness for its emergency and <br />hazard responses; and <br />WHEREAS, the HFD is requesting funds to purchase security cameras, air conditioning <br />units, and fitness equipment for the Kea`au Fire Station; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Hawaii Fire <br />Department to purchase equipment for the Kea`au Fire Station. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $9,500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $9,500 <br />010.221.6223.06 Hawaii Fire Department $9,500 <br />Fire Auxiliary Services Equipment <br />480 Misc.
