Kekai <br />Deputy Director <br />Please see below the proposed amendments to Resolution No. 142-25, to amend the locations <br />and parties involved in this agreement by removing the Waimea Civic Center and the Hawaii <br />Police Department. The proposed amendments are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to <br />the contents of Resolution No. 142-25, where the material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken <br />through, material to be added is bolded and underscored. <br />The third WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows: <br />"WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation [;] and the Department of Public <br />Works[, and the 14a ai`i Poliee DepaAwnenfl desire the ability to enter into an Memorandum of <br />Agreement with the State of Hawai`i's Department of Transportation ("DOT") that allows DOT <br />to install and maintain National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure ("NEVI") Charging Stations at <br />each of the following sites: Ho`olulu Complex[;] and the West Hawaii [Givie Gentef, and the <br />Wai ma] Civic Center; now, therefore," <br />2. The BE IT RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows: <br />"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />that in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 46-7 and Hawaii County Code Section <br />2-120(a)(4), the Mayor, on behalf of the County of Hawaii, is authorized to execute an <br />intergovernmental agreement with the Department of Transportation, on such terms and <br />conditions as deemed proper, for the purpose of installing and maintaining NEVI Charging <br />Stations at each of the following properties: Ho`olulu Complex[;] and the West Hawaii [Givie <br />Center, and the Waimea] Civic Center." <br />The BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows: <br />Comm.
