Kekai Deputy Director Please see below the proposed amendments to Resolution No. 142-25, to amend the locations and parties involved in this agreement by removing the Waimea Civic Center and the Hawaii Police Department. The proposed amendments are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 142-25, where the material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is bolded and underscored. The third WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows: "WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation [;] and the Department of Public Works[, and the 14a ai`i Poliee DepaAwnenfl desire the ability to enter into an Memorandum of Agreement with the State of Hawai`i's Department of Transportation ("DOT") that allows DOT to install and maintain National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure ("NEVI") Charging Stations at each of the following sites: Ho`olulu Complex[;] and the West Hawaii [Givie Gentef, and the Wai ma] Civic Center; now, therefore," 2. The BE IT RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows: "BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 46-7 and Hawaii County Code Section 2-120(a)(4), the Mayor, on behalf of the County of Hawaii, is authorized to execute an intergovernmental agreement with the Department of Transportation, on such terms and conditions as deemed proper, for the purpose of installing and maintaining NEVI Charging Stations at each of the following properties: Ho`olulu Complex[;] and the West Hawaii [Givie Center, and the Waimea] Civic Center."
