RESOLUTION NO. 169 25
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE METAL FOR TRASH BINS AT
`ALAS CEMETERY.
WHEREAS, `Alae Cemetery provides an affordable and accessible public memorial
park to accommodate the burials of the general public; and
WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Department of Parks and Recreation is to provide
safe, clean, enjoyable, accessible and aesthetically pleasing facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase
metal for trash bins; now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to purchase metal for
trash bins at `Alae Cemetery.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,000
CREDITED TO:
010.423.5421.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $5,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
