Legislative Commatee We need to continue to control the marijuana cultivation on this island.
Puhce Liaison It is a continuing serious problem to our youth; it is a gateway drug. This
Gingerfowle has been proven over and over. Just ask some school students what
Laura Bollinger goes on at the schools and the serious problem marijuana is causing.

Much has been said about the police efforts to do their job, as if they
l(usalind (unite were the ones involved in an illegal activity. The guidelines need to be
B;uhara Camel followed to do the job right and the Council needs to be protected from
GayloKeller lawsuits. But the cleanup must continue. As I said many times before
George Haudgis we do not want our island to become the "pot capital" of the nation!
We should not be swayed by a vocal minority because the majority in this
,ahe Kula community want marijuana controlled and destroyed.
Madelyn Barrea
Joe Reynolds I think it's time to understand that the police would not be out there with
helicopters etc. if people weren't growing marijuana in the first place.
Honorary Board People are planting on privately owned property and government lands.
Allen Wilcox They are trespassing! Has anyone taken a good look, or even thought
about the destruction in the forest caused when the land is cleared to
Marlarm Simpson
plant this illegal crop.
Please continue all efforts to control and eradicate marijuana. No 7L/Q. oS/
