A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION WITH EXPENSE RELATING TO THE HILO BAY BLAST FIREWORKS DISPLAY AT HILO BAY TO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON JULY 4, 2025.
WHEREAS, the annual Hilo Bay Blast, a long-standing and highly anticipated community fireworks display celebrating Independence Day, is scheduled to take place on July 4, 2025, at Hilo
Bay; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase fireworks for the celebration; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase
fireworks for the annual Hilo Bay Blast fireworks display at Hilo Bay to celebrate Independence Day on July 4, 2025.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
