Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 139-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 139-25,transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication
No. 238, dated April 17, 2025, authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of
Hawai`i Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.
This resolution allows for the receipt of$1,500,000 of federally-derived funds for the development of
the Kukuiola Permanent Supportive Housing Project in Kailua-Kona.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 139-25, and
recommends its adoption.
