Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Bill No. 48, reports as follows:
Bill No. 48, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication No. 237, dated
April 17, 2025, amends Ordinance No. 24-32, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants—Federal Transit Administration Section 5304
Formula account($270,000); and appropriates the same to the Federal Transit Administration
Section 5304 Formula account,to be used for the planning of the Pahoa Transit Hub.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 48, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
