Bill 40: Amends Section 25-8-33 (City of Hilo Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), by Changing the Zone Map Classification from Agricultural —10 Acres (A-1 Oa) to Agricultural — 5 Acres (A-5a)at Pana`ewa, Hilo, Hawaii, Covered by TMK: 2-2-048:013 (Por.) (Applicant: Ho`oulu-Lahui) (Area: approx. 12.043 acres). Allows the applicant to subdivide the property that currently houses Kua O Ka La New Century Public Charter School and enable the school to transition from a lease agreement to fee -simple ownership. Decreases the appropriation in the Transfer to Housing Fund account ($451,221); and appropriates the same to the HOME Program Income Repayment account.
