HomeMy WebLinkAboutBIL 054 Draft 01 2024-2026AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 24-33, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2024 TO JUNE 30, 2025.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 24-33, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, is hereby amended by establishing
the following program appropriations:

Bridge Inspection/Repair

Local Road Projects
746,777.37
TOTAL
$ 1,493,554.75
Allotments from these program appropriations shall be made to be specific projects listed on the attached Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. Funds for these projects shall be provided from fuel tax revenues, in excess of what was projected in Ordinance No. 23-18.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the
invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon the earlier of: its approval or on June 30, 2025.
