Dear Council Chair Holeka Inaba and Council Members
Per Resolution 120-25 authorizing County Negotiations for PONC lands I am writing on behalf of the owner, EWM
Enterprises, LP to express his willingness to negotiate with the County to protect this important coastal land from
development.We humbly request your support to protect this unique property along the North Kohala Coast that
is situated between Upolu Airport and State of Hawaii lands.
The North Kohala Community has worked diligently to protect the open spaces along the coast.This aina has been
an integral part of Hawaiian cultural history and is an important location for fishing and recreation. It well deserves
protection from development as a County Legacy property for future generations.
