Dear Big Island council.
As the owner of an STVR In Keaukaha,Across from Richardson's beach, I would like to say we very much
enjoy hosting people.At least half or perhaps more of The people we host are local.They and their Ohana
very much enjoy staying at this beach rental.We took a lot of time with it, as it was built in 1954, and we
wanted to maintain the look and original feel.
It should be noted that the taxes we pay to the county and the state are significant, at least$15,000 a
year.STVRs fill A real need, One that does not go filled by the Hotel industry.We comply with all of°the
regulations of the county, pay the significant taxes noted, and provide to many many many local people
the opportunity to stay by the beach and host their Ohana.
