Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 24,Draft 4. The amendment is shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the content of Bill No. 24, Draft 4;material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. SECTION 7 of Bill No. 24, Draft 4, which amends chapter 25, article 4, division 1, section 25-4- 12, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended by amending subsection(d)to read as follows: "(d) Except when located within the V, CN, CG, CV,MCX, ML, MG, or CDH districts, a telecommunication tower shall be set back from every property line by a distance not less than one hundred and twenty percent of the tower height as measured from the ground level[:] and not less than six hundred feet from any residence or school." Due to the limited scope of this amendment, a copy of the new draft of this bill that would result if it were adopted is not attached, Mahalo.
