(---- <br /> .._.;,g,..„,p ;...• .,COUNTY OF HAWAI`I �-' / •)) STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 192 25 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO HOSPICE OF HILO <br /> FOR ITS 21ST ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF LIFE. <br /> WHEREAS,Hospice of Hilo (doing business as Hawaii Care Choices) is a 501(c)(3) <br /> nonprofit organization that provides medical, social, and spiritual services for terminally ill <br /> patients at their end of life, as well as providing support to their families and caregivers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hospice of Hilo is requesting funds for stage decorations,tents, supplies for <br /> set up, and keiki coloring books, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or <br /> promoting the interests of culture and the arts, educational concerns,needs of the poor,youth, <br /> the aged,those with physical or emotional disabilities, and public health and welfare of the <br /> people and the environment; and <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that, in <br /> accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br /> amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 are hereby transferred to the <br /> Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Hospice of Hilo for the expenses and <br /> purposes identified in"Exhibit A,"a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $2,000 <br /> Public Programs <br /> 115 Misc.
