SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Resolution No. 140-25; RESOLUTION APPROVING
THE AWARD OF FUNDS TO ALOHA ANIMAL ALLIANCE HAWAI`I BY
THE ANIMAL CONTROL AND PROTECTION AGENCY.
Transmitted herewith are proposed amendments to Resolution No. 140-25. The proposed
amendments are shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No.
140-25; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be inserted is underscored.
1. The fourth WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS,the Animal Control and Protection Agency wishes to provide $50,000 to
Aloha Animal Alliance Hawai`i[;] to pay for project cost items listed in"Exhibit A" attached
hereto. now,therefore,"
2. Resolution No. 140-25 is further amended by attaching Exhibit A to read as follows:

Total Funds Requested Award Amount: $50,000
Project Cost Items Funds Detailed Description of Items
Outreach&Education $8,000 Local radio,printed flyers, and digital ads to raise awareness around
spay/neuter access and responsible cat care in high-need zones.
Surgical Instruments $3,000 Surgical instruments for spay and Neuter of animals.
Field Equipment $12,000 Humane traps,trap covers, PPE,microchip scanners, signage,
collapsible shelters, uniforms for colony feeders.
Anesthesia Machine $6,500 Field-compatible anesthesia machine.
Data and Support Tools $14,000 Build-out of informational chatbot, clinic scheduling interface, and
photo ID tool matching tool to cross-references cats with Petco Love
