Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 55, reports as follows:
Bill No. 55, transmitted by Finance Director Diance Nakagawa via Communication No. 292, dated
May 2, 2025, amends Ordinance No. 24-32, as aemnded, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants — HOME -American Rescue Plan Program account
($1,977,568); and appropriates the same to the HOME -American Rescue Plan Projects account
($1,817,225) and HOME -American Rescue Plan Administration account ($160,343), to be used towards
the Kuakini Heights Affordable Housing Project.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 55, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
