SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 24,Draft 5; an Ordinance Amending Chapter 25, Articles 1,
2,4, 5, and 7, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended),
Relating to Telecommunication Antennas and Towers.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 24, Draft 5. During its meeting on May 20,2025,the Policy
Committee on Planning,Land Use, and Economic Development amended Bill No. 24, Draft 4,
with the contents of Communication Nos. 110.117 and 110.118,resulting in the attached draft.
The Committee then voted to recommend passage of Bill 24, as amended to Draft 5, on first
reading.
