It is Your Job to protect us from danger. If you are of the belief that cell
towers in our backyard and near schools are safe, please provide the
evidence. You cannot remove our only protection of, at least, a 600-foot
setback. We need that. If you are being persuaded by the large tech
companies that this is no problem... remember, their big budgets allow
many who will sell their dismissal of the golden rule for a price. You do
not have to be complicit in their crime upon the health of our families of
individuals, many of whom, like myself have felt the damage of high
frequencies. I have had extra training to know how this damage happens,
as I am a end level General Class ham radio operator. Much of our
training is how to not hurt ourselves because we are working with
higher frequencies than the FCC Technician Class license requires. I can
send you much data on this (some of it highly technical, however).
If you do not require companies to notify us, in advance, in writing, by
certified mail when they start the application process, plus require a
specific form that states exactly when the application process began, you
have failed your commitment to our citizenry and their children. Bill 24
should be balanced and we, people under your care in your job
description, need protection from real harm by telecom corporations. We
need a minimum 600-foot setback for homes and schools. I personally
want none of these or 1200 feet minimum. I am coming to the middle to
attain a meeting of the minds, as reasonable and non-violent individuals
do, to keep the peace and the trust of the people. Mahalo!
