SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 47, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending
Chapter 6 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended),
Relating to Transient Accommodations.
Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 47, Draft 2. The amendment is shown
below in Ramseyer format with respect to the content of Bill No. 47, Draft 2; material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken and material to be inserted is underscored.
SECTION 3 of Bill No. 47, Draft 2, is amended to read as follows:
"This ordinance shall take effect [nifiety] one hundred and eighty days after its approval."
Due to the limited scope of this proposed amendment, a copy of the new draft of this bill that
will result if it were adopted is not attached.
