Hello,
Please consider a situation like ours when instituting this new law: we live in our house at least 6 months
of the year, and would like it to be available for rental the other approximate 6 months to be sure it is not
vandalized or has damage from insects or vermin.
We would like to consider a longer term rental, but it would still be less than 180 days, since we prefer to
be in our home ourselves at least that long every year. In addition, the possibility of having a renter who
refuses to leave when we wish to return, with inadequate landlord ability to evict, makes this alternative
impossible.
