The proposed amendment is shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 31, Draft 3; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. Due to the limited scope of this amendment, a draft copy of the bill that would result if this amendment were adopted is not attached. SECTION 7 of Bill No. 31, Draft 3, is amended to read as follows: "SECTION 7. The federal and state grant revenues set forth in SECTION 4 - Account Nos. [33302,3303,3304,3305,3306,38,3309,and-334-8] 4301, 4302, 4303, 4304, 4305, 4306, 4308, 4309, and 4310 are hereby appropriated in the amounts and to the programs identified therein; provided that disbursement is conditioned on (1) receipt of a notification of grant award from the grantor, or receipt of notification from the grantor that the grant award will be forthcoming and that the County is authorized to incur costs pursuant to such grant award; and (2) written notice to the Council including a copy of the notification from the grantor. A final report, or the final report required by the grantor, shall be submitted to the Council upon completion of each grant program. Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County Charter, the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the programs identified in SECTION 4. Grant revenues received during Fiscal Year 2025-2026 for programs that are not included in SECTION 4 shall be subject to the adoption of an ordinance appropriating such funds and shall include provisions to comply with Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii Countv Charter."
