COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2 9 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br />RECREATION WITH EXPENSES RELATING TO TREE REMOVAL AND TENNIS <br />COURT IMPROVEMENTS IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 9. <br />WHEREAS, Spencer Park at `Ohai`ula Beach and Kamehameha Park bring families and <br />communities together; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Department of Parks and Recreation is to support <br />public park improvements for gatherings and activities that support fitness, relaxation, and <br />family connection in a safe space; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council District 9 office seeks to support the Department of Parks and <br />Recreation by alleviating expenses for tree removal and tennis court improvements; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for expenses related to tree removal support and services at Spencer Park at <br />`Ohai`ula Beach and Kamehameha Park, and improvements to the Kamehameha tennis courts. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $30,817 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $30,817 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5505.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $30,817 <br />Parks Maint OCE <br />115 Misc.
