This funding allows us to purchase much -needed equipment —a garden tiller and generator —that will directly enhance our ability to cultivate, sustain, and expand our `aina-based learning and food sovereignty efforts. These tools are not just investments in equipment, but in the health, resilience, and education of our kaiaulu. Council Member Villegas has consistently demonstrated her commitment to grassroots community initiatives and uplifting Native Hawaiian -serving organizations. Her support affirms the importance of hands-on, culturally rooted education and helps ensure that our lahui continues to thrive.
