SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 47, Draft 3; An Ordinance Amending Chapter 6 of the
Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), Relating to
Transient Accommodations.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 47, Draft 3. During its meeting on June 4, 2025, the Council
amended Bill No. 47, Draft 2 with the contents of Communication Nos. 236.56 and 236.57,
resulting in the attached draft.
The Council voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1(d) and passed Bill No. 47, as amended to Draft 3,
on second and final reading.
