Re: Nomination of Stephanie Bath of Council District 5 to the Puna Community Development
Plan Action Committee
Aloha Chair Inaba and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Ms. Stephanie Bath of Council District 5 to the Puna Community
Development Plan Action Committee. Ms. Bath is a 43-year resident of Hawaii Island.
Her service to our island spans over twenty years. In 2006, she served as the transportation
lead on the steering committee of the Puna Community Development Plan Action Committee
and in 2021 she served on the Redistricting Committee. Additionally, Ms. Bath has been a
licensed massage therapist and small business owner for over 42 years. Given her experience
on this committee and her passion for improving Puna, I believe she will excel in this role. If
confirmed, Ms. Bath will serve a term ending on December 31, 2028.
