Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 215-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 215-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication
No. 337, dated May 29, 2025, authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year license agreement with
the Trustees of the Estate of Bernice Pauahi Bishop for the continued operation and maintenance of a
non -manned communications facility which includes a three hundred foot tower.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year agreement with an approximate annual
cost of $5,000 plus taxes, to operate and maintain the Kulani Cone radio tower and facility at Keauhou,
Ka`u.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 215-25, and
recommends its adoption.
