It contains a balance between providing connectivity for the community and protection from tower/antenna encroachment. For example, telecom facilities - including police, fire and ambulance - are exempt from requirements. At the same time a 600 foot setback from residences and schools is provided. A good balance that protects public health, safety and welfare. Without this proposed ordinance we have nothing. We need the protections it provides. Please approve Bill 24 as -is. Thank you.
